In brief, each World Campus course employs five (5) core teaching elements:

Dr. Dutch Sheets

Known for his passion for prayer and intercession, Dr. Dutch Sheets is the President and Co-founder of Dutch Sheets Ministries, a non-profit organization devoted to passionate prayer and world-changing revival. He is the author of the best-selling book, "Intercessory Prayer" and eleven other books including "Watchman Prayer" and "Tell Your Heart to Beat Again."

Dr. Sheets has been in the ministry for 29 years, being ordained at the young age of 23. He has ministered in many nations and cities preaching the cause of Christ. He currently serves on many boards including The National Prayer Center. Dr. Sheets travels extensively, bringing breakthrough and re-digging wells of revival in this nation. He is a conference speaker, author, Bible college lecturer, and has been a guest on Christian television including The 700 Club, It’s a New Day, the Inspiration Network, the LeSea Network and Trinity Broadcasting Network. He is also Senior Pastor of Freedom Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he has pastored for 15 years.

Dr. Sam Sasser

Dr. Sam Sasser spent 35 years in ministry and held post graduate degrees from California Graduate School and Fuller Seminary. Dr. Sam Sasser was greatly loved by many thousands of Pacific Islanders. Since 1960 he served as a missionary in the Marshall Islands and Samoa, helped establish 26 churches, and pastored in Honolulu, California, and Texas. He taught in conferences and crusades in 63 nations. Sam's health had been failing for several years, but he continued to minister in conferences around the world until his death in 1995. He had requested that his heart be buried in the Marshall Islands.

In its 16th Constitutional Session the government of the Marshall Islands wrote a Resolution honoring Dr. Sasser's life. The two-page document was given to the Sasser family during a formal presentation while they were there.  Among other things, the Resolution stated, "...the Most Reverend Samuel Sasser dedicated his ...works among the Marshallese people, especially the young; and ... his teachings and guidance and wisdom have touched and greatly enriched the lives of the Marshallese people, and that his devotion to the Marshallese people will be felt for many generations to come...."

Dr. Don Normand

Dr. Don Normand received Jesus Christ as his Savior as a result of an automobile accident, in which his eldest daughter, Mary, was severely injured.  God wonderfully healed his daughter after she was medically given up to die.

Dr. Normand spent 30 years in Africa as  Missionary, Evangelist, Pastor and Army Chaplain where he started and built some of the more successful ministries in the continent.  Don and his wife Cindy reside in Melrose, Florida.

Dr. Normand teaches in colleges and churches throughout the world.  He has written several books for colleges and for children.

Dr. Dick Reuben

Dr. Dick Reuben entered full-time ministry in 1985 and was a pastor of a small church in Indiana for several years before becoming a traveling Evangelist. Having studied under a noted Messianic Rabbi for 6 years, Dr. Reuben attended the Institute of Ministry in Bradenton, Florida and Christ for the Nations in Dallas, Texas.

He joined the staff of Rock of Israel in January of 1990 as a field representative with the Assemblies of God Home Missions in southern California. While living in southern California, Dr. Reuben received his D.D. Degree from, and for a short time taught at, the Southern California Theological Seminary as a professor of Old Testament theology.

Dr. Larry Bowen

Dr. Bowen holds a Doctorate in Biblical Studies and Doctorate Certification from the National Association of Forensic Counselors in Domestic Violence, Addiction Counseling and Criminal Justice. He is the founder of Clean And Sober Living, a special needs housing provider in Washington and Marion Counties, Oregon. Dr. Bowen has helped organize and form such organizations as Vision Action Network, Interreligious Action Network and the Community Housing Fund of Washington County.

Dr. Bowen is past chairman and current member of the Peacekeepers Northwest Chaplain’s Association, and teaches classes in the Washington County Jail and Restitution Center, and in the community-at-large. He teaches counseling in various fields, especially in areas of his accreditation. He has been on staff at several large churches and pioneered a church in Albany, Oregon.

Dr. Victor Powell

Dr. Victor L. Powell is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Dunbar Vocational High School in Chicago in 1979 and joined the United States Marine Corps a year later and served nine years. He completed Noncomissioned Officers Leadership School, Defense Mapping School, was meritiously promoted to Sergeant and became an instructor at the Officers Leadership School. He was also promoted to Staff Sergeant. Dr. Powell has been awarded a D.D. and has earned a Bachelor of Theology from Moriah Institute of Christian Studies.

Dr. Powell is also a devoted husband and father. He has spearheaded and taught many workshops and seminars and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Albany Georgia's Chamber of Commerce, Apostolic Worship Enterprise, and Capitol City Bank. Dr. Powell is the Sr. Pastor of Rhema Word International Ministries. He is the founder and executive director of Stand Up Again Outreach, Inc. and Global Business Connect.

Lindell Cooley

Pastor Cooley is the president of Music Missions International (MMI) and the former music minister at the Brownsville Assembly of God Church in (Brownsville Revival) Pensacola, Florida.

Presently, Lindell is the founder and lead pastor of Grace Church Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Terri Terry

After graduating with a B.A. in Piano Performance, Dr. Terry went on to complete her Master of Theology and Master of Divinity with a Doctorate of Ministry (summa cum laude). She has been serving the Lord in ministry since 1976. Currently, she travels and ministers internationally. Dr. Terry has served on the faculty of several Bible colleges, including Beacon University as chairman of the Worship Arts department, West Georgia Bible College and the Potter’s House Bible School in Dallas.

Presently, Dr. Terry is the Dean of Student Affairs at the Forerunner Music Academy, a ministry of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Kansas. She also teaches voice and piano.

 DAVID BARONI: Real Life

David Baroni

From his boyhood in the turbulent 1960's in Natchez, Mississippi, to the recording studios of Muscle Shoals and Nashville, David Baroni is considered one of the finest worship composers in the United States. David is an award-winning songwriter and recording artist who has shared his music and his life with audiences all over the world including Italy, Russia, Nigeria, Greece, and Kuwait.

Dr. Larry Pyle

Dr. Pyle is founder and president of Successful Living Concepts and has many years of experience leading large, multi-staff churches. He earned a Doctorate of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology and is a highly regarded financial consultant and estate planner.

Author of "Stop Going to Church, The Dynamics of BEING the Church"; Founder and President of Successful Living Concepts, a Non-Profit organization designed to assist families and churches in attaining financial freedom; Pastored for more than thirty years; Oversees pastors' conferences throughout Romania; Teachings are aired all across Eastern Europe via Alfa Omega TV and TBN Europe.

Dr. Keith Hendrie

Keith Hendrie was born in Australia and began his teaching career as a high school science/math teacher. He holds a Th.D. from the World Evangelism Bible College & Seminary.  He came to North America in 1975 to pursue PhD studies in science and environmental studies. While doing research he encountered the Lord of all creation and accepted the call to the ministry. A skilled teacher, Dr. Hendrie has fulfilled various roles in lay ministry and leadership including assistant pastorship, professor, leading missions trips, and a radio program.

M O R I A H   S T A F F

 

Dr. Marian Jones

President and Founder of Moriah Institute of Christian Studies, Dr. Jones is a pioneer in non-traditional Christian education with over 18 years of proven experience and success. Along with developing and directing several other programs of training, under her leadership, one of the largest church-based Bible schools in the United States was built. Dr. Jones earned a B.A. in Social Studies from the University of North Carolina before studying counseling and theology and earning Masters of Theology and Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry. Marian is respected nationwide for her proven methods of Christian education. Also an ordained minister, Dr. Jones has written several books along with a group counseling discipleship program, "Twenty-six Weeks to Freedom,"  and hosted a television program, "Moriah Presents" which was broadcast bi-weekly in her home town of Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Thomas Hale

Thomas Hale is the Executive Director of Moriah Institute. He completed his undergraduate work at Arkansas State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. He has since completed a Master of Theology from Christian Life School of Theology. He has continued his biblical studies and is currently completing his Doctor of Christian Ministry with Moriah Institute. 

Thomas has served proficiently in the Christian community for more than thirty years as a successful youth pastor and senior pastor. He brings proven leadership to MORIAH. As Academic Dean of Christian Life School of Theology in Columbus, Georgia, a world-wide leader in non-traditional Christian education, Thomas was a key element in the growth of its student base from 3,000 to nearly 10,000. He has a great love for people and displays a life message of service to God's leaders and personal integrity.

Dr. Neal Vickers

Dr. Vickers is the Vice-President of Academic Affairs at Moriah Institute. Dr. Vickers earned a B.A. in Bible from Central Bible College, a Master in Education from Drury College, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University.

Awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Arkansas Association of Colleges and Employers, Dr. Vickers has an extensive background of higher education leadership at Evangel University, Northern Illinois University and Arkansas State University. In addition, Dr. Vickers is the founder of Grace Christian College in Jonesboro, Arkansas and is an Elder at Trinity Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Dr. Stephen Duke

Dr. Duke is the Associate Vice-President of Academic Affairs. He is a man of great learning who has dedicated his life to finding God in His Word, and finding the God of the Word. He began his studies at Southeastern University where he earned a B.A. in Pre-Seminary Bible. Then, from the Assemblies of God Graduate School, added to his education with an M.A. in Biblical Studies, followed by an M.Div. of Theology, and an S.T.M. from Concordia Seminary.

In 1983 Dr. Duke earned a Th.D. from Logos Graduate School and is a Ph.D. candidate with a New Testament major. Added to his major areas of works are also minor areas of concentration in Old Testament and Practical Theology.
